Victoria – Many Canadians face the unpleasant prospect of their body outliving their brain (My Brain Needs Viagra - March 12). Anyone who has witnessed the tragedy of a formerly vital mind slipping into dementia will know what is at stake.

Fortunately recent brain research indicates that there is much we can do to preserve brain functioning and reduce the risk of dementia. In my own practice I have seen many remarkable transformations in the brain functioning of clients aged from 40 to 91 who have been willing to train their brain.

Don't wait for “brain Viagra,” now is the right time to improve brain functioning, and you don't need pills to do it.
